Montrose Pier Plein Air

This is a little plein air I did yesterday afternoon, about an hour's worth. The location is maybe a mile or so away from my house, facing south looking towards downtown Chicago.

The atmoshpere is right on... I've seen this same view many times... from about Lincoln Park after a stroll in the zoo (free). Yes an hour well spent... the evidence is in.

Hi Jason

Wow I'm linking to you! Nice painting and drawing... To be able to paint all in one go! Much to learn.

This painting is HILARIOUS! Once again You've proven "It's funny because it's true".
All jokes aside, nice work. Nothing like painting from life, is there?
